I love a good adventure – especially when it includes a few pints. Bar crawls can be the most enjoyable excursions you take during the year, even though in movies it can lead to the end of the world. There is something inherently exciting in making a slew of stops at the pub, soaking in each establishment’s respective atmosphere. So why not partake in a bar crawl that benefits a good cause? Clarendon’s Finest Holiday Crawl is the perfect ticket to merriment this weekend and also your way of helping those who suffer from Cystic Fibrosis.
Tomorrow, Saturday, Dec. 14, you can be cavorting with friends at the finest bars in Clarendon. Grab a mug of the good stuff at Clarendon Grill, Mad Rose Tavern, Mister Days, Mexicali Blues, Hunan Number One, Bracket Room and The Rock and Raw Bar at Sobe’s. You are encouraged to dress up in holiday costume (dibs on Buddy the Elf). Begin the crawl by registering at Sobe’s starting at 3 p.m. and finish out the evening at Mister Days from 8-9 p.m., where prizes will be handed out to Most Creative Costume (hint: go as a Bad Santa and you can’t miss), Dynamic Duo (Harry and Marv, anyone?) and Best Dressed Group (just look sharp, you dig?).
The proceeds go to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, making your participation not only great fun but an essential Christmas present to those in need.
